The venture capital companies Caixa Capital Risc and Ade Capital Sodical are taking part in this operation.

STinser offers complete management of steel as a raw material for industries ranging from automotives to household electrical appliances.

The investment seeks to expand the company’s facilities in Miranda de Ebro and initiate the exporting process.

”la Caixa” has led an investment of 2 million Euros in STinser, a company located in Miranda de Ebro (Burgos) dedicated to the complete management of steel supply. The investment is being done through Caixa Innvierte Industria, a fund specialised in industrial technology companies, together with the Centre for Industrial Technology Development (Centro para el Desarrollo Tecnológico Industrial, CDTI). The venture capital company Ade Capital Sodical, managed by Ade Gestión Sodical, is also taking part.

STinser directs its activity toward companies that use steel as a raw material. The company’s most important clients are in the automotive and household appliance sectors. The key to the company’s proposal is to help companies manage their steel supply and allocation, from guidance in the selection and purchasing of the steel to logistics and its final conditioning. The company currently has 23 employees and will end 2013 with revenues of around 10 million Euros, a figure that the company predicts will double in 2018.

STinser will use the investment by ”la Caixa” and Ade Capital Sodical to expand its facility so that the company can consolidate its position in the Spanish market and begin the process of exporting to other European countries.

Founded in Burgos in 2009, STinser is managed by José Ángel González Arias, an executive who, throughout his professional career prior to creating the company, has held managerial positions in companies such as Roca, Faurecia, General Electric and Saint Gobain.
